About Lisa
I'm a self-taught artist based in California with no formal art training and absolutely no master plan.
What began as a creative experiment quickly became a source of joy, curiosity, and endless trial and error. Most of my paintings start with a simple question: "What happens if I try this?"
I love exploring color, movement, texture, and the unexpected moments that emerge along the way. Some pieces take shape quickly, while others evolve through layers of revision and discovery. Every painting teaches me something new.
My work is inspired less by specific places or objects and more by energy, emotion, and transformation. Whether through flowing motion, vibrant color, or heavily textured surfaces, I aim to create pieces that invite viewers to pause, feel something, and find their own meaning within the work.
Most importantly, I paint because it's fun. Creating brings me joy, and sharing that joy with others is one of the most rewarding parts of the process.
